Border Collie Rescue, Australia

Welcome to Border Collie Rescue, Australia

Dedicated to the Rescue and
Rehabilitation of Border Collies

The BCRA webserver is being moved in the last week of January 2022. This means that the website will be inaccessible for a period of time. Hopefully, not too long. I'm not going to make a prediction.
I will endeavour to have a redirect tab installed so that websearches do not fail, and there is advice to searchers of the outage. Apologies to everyone for the inconvenience.

BORDER COLLIE RESCUE AUSTRALIA NEEDS HELP.
IF YOU ARE AN EXPERIENCED BC OWNER AND MIGHT HAVE TIME TO TALK TO PEOPLE WHO ARE SEEKING ASSISTANCE WITH A DOG ISSUE, THEN PLEASE GET IN TOUCH BY EMAIL FOR A CHAT.

If you are an experienced BC home and would like to help BCs without committing to a new permanent family member perhaps you might considering fostering a BC in need. If you want more information please contact bcrescueaustralia@gmail.com

If you are seeking to adopt a BC permanently, then please keep an eye on the "dogs available". It is updated as necessary, and the number of people seeking a dog at the moment greatly outnumbers those trying to rehome one. You can email bcrescueaustralia@gmail.com if you are looking for something specific, but please continue to monitor the website, as the number of enquiries is large.

If you own a BC between the ages of approx 12 months and 2 years with a VERY strong retrieve drive for a tennis ball, then your BC might be a potential army detection dog. Recruiting is through June to January each year.

If you think your dog is a candidate then contact Sgt Stuart Conlin on (02) 8782 9253 NSW only please

If you are having any management or training issues with your dog, or if you just want to learn about dogs and dog training then this website will help.
